6 miles of walking along the impressive dandy beaches is available but there is much more to do from Inverbrora Farm and Brora Village

and if  you’re lucky, Dolphins.   The RSPB reserve at Forsinard is well worth a visit with marked walks through peatland and a chance to see some rare beautiful birds.

Walking and Cycling

We are on the LEJOG (Lands End to John O’Groats) and several other major cycle routes  but anyone can enjoy shorter cycle rides or pleasant strolls along beaches.

Brora is surrounded by history.  2 miles to Dunrobin Castle you can also get to  Castle of Mey north, Helmsdale is just 10 miles North for history brought to life atTimespan’.

Day trips across the North...

Thurso, Wick,  Ullapool and Durness are all very easy day trips and Helmsdale is just 10 miles for history and brought to life atTimespan’ including gold prospecting!

Our Three Coastlines

Sutherland is surrounded by magnificent costal scenes. In addition to our own sandy beaches go North from Durness to Cape Wrath west Ullapool to Scourie (pic).
